I wasn't there, but dang if that wouldn't surprise the heck out of me to hear Coach Clark say something like that. If that were true, I would have thought a move would have been made by UVA-Wise to suspend him or something because it would be a black eye to the school.

I have no idea what's went on there, but from what I was told by several faculty members, he's not allowed to use our gymnasium again because of the incident...which he has had to do many times. That was part of what sent things over the edge, the comments were heard by the hothead from Burton(plus family members that heard shouting back and others also), then it got worse and worse. I seen it on the tape, really good friends with the one that does the recording of the games, just the other week. Zero respect for him.

No one is blaming him for being upset for what was going on out on the court, but to spew racial slurs at Burtons players? Twice? Two times he came out of the stands, acted like a moron and threw out some pretty heavy names at the black player for Burton. And Kelly's players aren't and weren't any angels. It's disgusting and no excuse for it. Our problem on our team was taken care of by the principle, so was Clark and his use of Burtons gym, while Kelly did nothing about their "problems".

I was there - I was near the Burton bench and could hear his comments and I did not hear any comments of that nature! I suggest that R-13 call up Coach Clark and ask him what was said. I have always known him to have the upmost integrity and I think he would be glad to sit down and discuss the situation with you (R13). It is easy to sign on to an anonymous site and spit out slander about someone but it takes a man to sit down and talk to them. I didn't think this site was designed for anonymous slander. I could accuse any Coach of making that type of comment....but that doesn't make it true.

As I stated before, I would be careful with accusations of that nature. You are crossing a line when you do start doing that.

Sure. This was just pulled all of this out of nowhere, I seen what happened and I heard from very reliable people(not HS kids) of what was said and the 'banning' of usage from the gym. I didn't say that every word was some slur out of his mouth, but those words were used and was a big part of what set this off. I don't blame him for being ****ed about what was going on out on the court, understandable, but it went way over the line - I've heard plenty of stories of what happened the day after, this wasn't some rumor as some of them were, though it was the talk of everyone I talked to about it. I'm not anonymous and this isn't some random site, I probably won't comment anymore on it(pretty strong denial going on), but it won't changed what happened or the slurs that were used. I'll go edit my posts on it, just because this thread will just get more and more out of hand. The fact still remains, it's not new news, he can't take it back.

agreed. R13 u have stated if memory serves me correct you werent even at the game. Also the only tape that is available was the in house security.

This was a personal tape, never said it the "official" one from the school, so no. Actually seen around 10 cell phone videos from the fight and all throughout the game. There's several plenty you can find on facebook pages, did you think that was the only video taken?
